Anyone also in the Dallas office? If any, what is your situation looking like? I was told Dallas averages 4-4.5 months from the day you send it in to when you receive the GC (dependent on interview)

I'm at the Dallas office as well, and I'm still waiting for an interview date (since my status changed to testing and interview on march 18). I filed mid February... I'm hoping to get a date soon!!

02.14.2014 - Day 00 - AOS package sent (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131)

02.18.2014 - Day 06 - Package received at uscis

02.24.2014 - Day 12 - NOA received

02.27.2014 - Day 15 - Apt for biometrics received

03.13.2014 - Day 29 - Biometrics apt

03.18.2014 - Day 34 - I-485 case status changed to "testing and interview"

04.25.2014 - Day 72 - I-765 APPROVED! case status changed to "card production"

04.25.2014 - Day 72 - I-131 APPROVED! case status changed to "post decision activity"

04.30.2014 - Day 77 - Notification of EAD in the mail.

05.02.2014 - Day 79 - EAD in hand!

09.10.2014 - Day 210 - Received interview date, scheduled for 10.14.2014

10.14.2014 - Day 234 - Interview at Dallas TX USCIS office

10.15.2014 - Day 235 - I-485 & I-130 APPROVED! status changed to "card production"

10.20.2014 - Day 240 - Received approval letters for I-485 & I-130

10.21.2014 - Day 241 - Notification received, green card is in the mail

10.23.2014 - Day 243 - Green card in hand!

10.06.2016 - Day 00 - Mailed I-751 & documents to California Service Center (corporate shipping UPS next day air)

10.07.2016 - Day 01 - Package received and signed for at 10am

10.12.2016 - Day 06 - Check cashed

10.14.2016 - Day 08 - NOA received, dated 10.07.2016

March 18th? Thanks for the encouragement NOT!!!! haha... It looks like I am looking up on yours then since I was 14 days later with the update.

It also sucks when you check March Filers and they already have interview dates scheduled. I know different city different times but still sucks lol.. Oh well.... waiting game continues.........


I'm at the Dallas office as well, and I'm still waiting for an interview date (since my status changed to testing and interview on march 18). I filed mid February... I'm hoping to get a date soon!!

Going from your timeline, I should get an update on EAD by May 1st or May 2nd at the latest.

Text/Email Feb 26th

Biometrics March 24th

Status Change to Testing & Interview April 1st

I know I said I would wait until a couple of days.. I was itching too much to call, so I am waiting for a call back from Tier 2 officer. Hopefully a nice one. :)

Sounds like we've got almost the exact same timeframe.

I had been expecting something by today but I guess it may take a little bit more time. It could even by as late as next week.

Please post what the Tier 2 officer says.

Macruff - I know, I'm sorry! Guessing Texas is a busy state regarding immigration? It sucks, when I went for biometrics I was the only one there, so I thought for sure we would have an interview date soon. I'll most likely get my EAD before a date! Ugh!

So I called him to confirm my address and before I could ask anything he asked if I had done my biometrics and I said yes and that I even got a status change on April fools day (come to think about it, did they prank me?). He then acted stunned and started typing, a minute later he tells me to hold on as he was going to figure things out.. at this time I start dancing.... He comes back and drops this news on me....

"In a couple of days you will receive a letter (i'm jumping at this point and kissing the baby in the crowd).... stating your confirmation of change of address. Also when they are done scheduling you will receive a date for interview for your i-485"....

Now I'm back to earth, cussing the ground for my premature jubilation. He pretty much repeated what is on my doggone status!!!!!

DAMN YOU DAMN YOU!!! off with his head I said!!! lol

Aww #######! I called them last week as well and all she could tell me was that I was in line for scheduling. Ugh, I knew that.

It is getting to a month since it moved to testing and Interview and still no update. EAD still in initial review after 2 months and 4 days since NOA text was received (funny thing is I have already gotten 2 EAD cards from them before so it shouldnt be taking this long since I am already in the system. I will give it a couple more days, maybe the end of the week and then my Congressman is hearing from me, again. (My EAD expires June 10th and I dont want to risk having to leave work)...

FYI-

My EAD and AP status just changed to approval (Card/Document Production for the EAD and Post-Decision Activity for the AP). So I'm at 67 days which is basically in line with the Visa Journey Timeline statistics (66 days).

FYI-

My EAD and AP status just changed to approval (Card/Document Production for the EAD and Post-Decision Activity for the AP). So I'm at 67 days which is basically in line with the Visa Journey Timeline statistics (66 days).

I received an email for my EAD approval (Status changed to Card/Document Production) and then I checked online for the AP (and also the EAD but I got the email first).

I haven't gotten any updates to my I-485 at all. It is still in "Acceptance" but my lawyer says it is perfectly normal.
