Who to call for interview date

After searching VJ to find out who to call to see if my fiance's interview has been scheduled, it seems everyone points to the DOS. I have called the DOS three times this morning, spoken to three different humans, all of which informed me that they cannot give me any information about a K-1 visa and directed me to call the NVC.

It's pretty frustrating. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Nope, nothing wrong with what you were saying. DOS quit giving out that info on Jan 27.

I am having the same problem - cannot get info on our interview date. I called the DOS - they directed me to the NVC. I have been trying their # for 3 days and continue to get a busy signal. Please advise if you had any luck getting though or getting information.

NVC have extended hours.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to midnight (EST).

Try early or very late calling 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM to midnight (EST)

Call the number repeatedly, I get the busy signal, and after 5 or 6 times I always get through. (although it is easier to just keep pressing call on skype if you catch my drift.)

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

I am DCF filing in London (not sure if that makes a difference), and we emailed the embassy via their contact us form. We got a response within 2 hours yesterday, which I am amazed by! We had an interview scheduled, so I guess it was easy for them to look this us up. Said our letter was mailed on the 3rd, haven't received anything yet, but maybe tomorrow.

Her: USC, UK Permanent Resident since 2008

Him: UKC

I-130/IR-1 visa by Direct Consular Filing in London:

11 Dec 2005: Married in California

1 Jan 2006: Immigrated to UK

19 Nov 2013: I-130 filed
20 Nov 2013: NOA1 (email received on 25th, check your SPAM!)

12 Dec 2013: NOA2 APPROVED
7 Jan 2014: LND number and packet 3 arrived (dated 2 Jan)

10 Jan 2014: DS-260 and Notification of Readiness completed online
