Ok, after I recieved my NOA2 ,my petition was sent to the National Visa center, a couple days later I called NVC to inquire about my petition, the person who answered the phone asked my receipt number and said it was not recieved yet; I waited a few days and I called again, this time besides asking for my USCIS case number, she asked for my Name and DOB as well as the beneficiary (so if they ask this,it means they have it in the system),the person at NVC then said my case was in the system but I failed to ask for my case number;I waited two more days and i called again to ask for my case number and if it had been sent to the embassy, the person who answered gave me my case number and said " unfortunately your case is in admistrative processing and I cant tell you how long it would take", I started panicking and i went to the website and it was showing as being AT NVC,the paragraph below it read " please follow the instructions you recieved to continue with visa process",since i hadnt recieved anything i emailed NVC,well tonight I checked the website again and it shows "IN TRANSIT"!!! what a relief, that tells me that every case technically goes to AP but not necesarilly means that is in AP and it also tells me that the people who answer the phone dont have a clue, they only read a generic answer, I am hoping this will help somebody in the future if they go through the same situation
