hi everyone!We'll have our medical exam on February 10 and our interview date is February 26. My son is 1year old and 7 months, Im a little bit worried because he have cough now Im afraid that this will affect his medical especially the x-ray.Is there anyone here who had the same situation or experience?

Hi, don't worry, children under fifteen ages don't need x-ray or blood test, just general medical examination.

Thank you for your reply. My son had primary complex (tuberculosis in children) but he was already treated and we have the medical certificate. I know who had a history of TB will go for xray even it was treated.Im afraid that the result will affect it because of his cough and ask my son for sputum test.It will not be easy for him because his too young.

his cough is certified as a simple cough? maybe ask to your doctor to do some certificate.

So I don't think they do x-ray to your son, he is soo young, only when absolutely necessary, but if you can exclude that still has that disease they don't do.

hi chantal! yes its just a simple due to the weather in the philippines. I told the doctor of my son and she said just bring my son medicine and tell the doctor in SLEC that he has cough. Hope everything will be fine. Still praying.
