my husband filed my petition on march 2013 and now our case is on nvc already . what will be my visa category since we are cr 1 and if were going to have our 2 yrs anniversary on april. will my cri 1 will update to ir1? what will i need to prepare? do ineed to change ir or the embassy will update it itself/

There's nothing you have to do about what green card you will receive 2 year or 10 year. If you have passed your 2 year wedding anniversary when you POE be sure to remind the CBP at the airport when they ask for your marriage certificate that its past 2 years. They update the system.

4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received
