Questions about affidavit of support

Happpy sunday to you all, please i know thise might have been posted somewhere plea bear with me. Please i have some questions abouth affidavit of support. How much do you have to make to know if you are above poverty line e.g like if you make 18,000 in 2010 and over 19,000 in 2011 and so on , do they add all three years of tax returns together or what? I want to have it ready because i will start calling NVC by Wednesday or thursday. Thanks in advance.

One thing abut Lagos they do look at current and previous year. there's no adding the years up each year standing on its own. They want to see work history that's hopefully good and growing and steady.
