Questions from DS 260 Form

Hello VJ members, please help me or share if someone filled the DS 260 form.

In PERSONAL INFORMATION 2

Nationality: From the drop down I select my Nationality (Bangladesh)

Next: Provide the following information on your travel documentation

There are 2 options: PASSPORT and OTHER DOCUMENT. If I choose Passport it says Provide the Document ID. Does Document ID mean my Passport No?

Do you hold or have you held a Nationality other than the one you have indicated above?

YES NO

Does this mean other country Nationality? (I have only ONE citizenship, that is Bangladeshi and I have 1. National ID 2.Passport from government)

or Any other National ID instead of Passport?

My wife is already a citizen of USA. In Spouse Data they asked:

Q: Is your spouse immigrating to the US with you?

YES NO

What should I answer? If I answer NO then the next Question is:

Q: Is your spouse immigrating to the US at a later date to join you?

Same question to my child. Have 1 child and he is also US citizen.

Yes you input your passport number. Yes it is asking if you hold citizenship anywhere else. If you do not have citizenship in another country you answer no.

A USC NEVER immigrates to the USA. To immigrate to a country you cannoy be a citizen of that country. For example: If your family ever moved to Bangladesh, you and your son would be moving there and your wife would be immigrating because she is not a citizen of Bangladesh. Does that make more sense to you?
