Dear all

I've just found that my spouse has been scheduled for an interview on Feb 1st at Mumbia Consulate.

It is the end of the complicated journey. It took exact 365 days after I petitioned.good luck to all of you for your rest of yur journey.

Thanks for ya'all support. Specially to Pirates Queen.

BE SURE TO SUBMIT ALL THE PAPERWORK TO MUBMAI'S VFS CENTER 10-15 DAYS, EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, PRIOR TO INTERIVIEW. FAILED TO DO SO WILL CAUSE DELAY IN YOUR INTERVIEW! GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!

07/17/06: Received NOA1!

Did you receive packet 4 from the embassy or did you find out another way?

Sept. 2004 thru April 2006 ongoing relationship

Went back to Mumbai April 2006

Engagement April 2006

Nov.-Dec. 2006 went to Mumbai

08-02-06 mailed I-129F

08-15-06 NOA1

08-18-06 touched

10-05-06 NOA2 (51 Days)

10-07-06 touched

10-16-06 Received hardcopy of NOA2 in the mail

10-19-06 NVC received my petition (Please hurry, so she can be here for Christmas)

10-26-06 Received NVC letter stating it was sent to Mumbai (Letter dated 10-23-06)

12-09-06 Never received Packet 3, So we downloaded and sent to embassy

02-02-07 INTERVIEW (Missed 1st interview, waiting on new interview date)

04-02-07 New INTERVIEW Date.

04-02-07 APPROVED !!!!!

04-27-07 ARRIVED IN U.S.

CONGRATS!

Did you receive packet 4 from the embassy or did you find out another way?

Packet4 contains the interview letter showing date and time of interview. they must have received packet4 or probably called embassy to find out their interview date! Now their interview date is set, they should be able to pick up packet4 directly from consulate if they've not received it yet.

I called DOS here at 202-663-1225.They were nice people, I called different operator to verify.They all had the same answer.

Packet was sent out on Dec.27.

Do i still need to send alll the documetns such as I-864 job letter, etc, which i submitted here 2 months ago?

Incidently, we also found out today that my wife is scheduled for interview on 1 feb too !!!!!!!!! HURRRAY!!!!!!!!

I called the VFS and and asked them and window to submit the paperwork for 2 feb interview is between 10 Jan and 18 Jan....so just FYI to you guys.....(P.S WE haven't got pack-4 yet but they have mailed it on Dec 28. We called the embassy and they told us abt our interview date!!!)

Congratulations Raj!! I know you have been waiting and waiting for this. In regards to Packet 4, don't hesitate to go to their web-site and download everything there http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivforms.html . You may remember the problems we had and the e-mail we received from them was simply go to the web-site.

Within their last e-mail to my fiancé, they also included a copy of his appointment letter. I am sure we all know how reliable the postal system is not in India.
