I am filling out my Advance Parole papers and it says on a separate sheet of paper to explain how i qualify for this document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole. Someone put this in simple english for me as i have read so much today if it isnt processing lol.

Perhaps if i put more of my situation. I do a christian children's camp every year in canada and the owner would like me back to do it again for a week and has written me an official letter inviting me back. Is this what i explain in the letter?

Edited: Ok lesson learned, my AP questions are answer in the other forum lol. Thanks anyway.

State your current status (k-1, AOS) and that you plan on making multiple trips to visit family and attend the camp you mentioned. We had like only 2 sentences and were approved.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

All I said was that I wanted to visit my family for multiple visits and the dates of travel were unknown.....approved no problem.

They seem to give AP's easily....after all, we are buying them!!!

as dumb as it sounds, we simply wrote "we qualify for AP because we have filed AOS"

we received our AP 1.5mths later :)

oh wow. and here i thought i would have to write an essay or something. Just to clarify before i put it in ink, i can put unknown for my departure date and unknown for how long my trip will be?

well i knew at the time when i wanted to go to canada that they were 2mths behind in processing, but i really wanted to try my luck and see what would happen if i put in a travel date as early as 1mth from applying for AP...

Stina, we did put a travel date, i think u have to put one..i forgot... But they don't really care which date you put in there.. They won't work any quicker or slower!

hey, but if you want to write an essay, i'm sure they won't mind either !llolol
