k1 interview and no jabs

I've got my k1 visa interview coming up in London and I haven't had my injections or anything yet. I've had my medical and I have the receipt for it but I was told at the medical that I didn't have to have the jabs right away. I could even have them in America if I wanted. Is this right? I really want to make sure I'm ready for the interview.

By jabs you mean vaccinations? Vaccinations are NOT required for a K-1 visa. They are required once you are here in the US and file AOS.

K-1
NOA1: 04/08/2014; NOA2: 04/21/2014; Visa interview, approved: 07/15/2014; POE: 07/25/2014; Marriage: 09/05/2014

 

AOS

NOA1:  09/12/2014;  Biometrics:  10/06/2014;  EAD/AP Received:  11/26/2014;  Interview Waiver Letter:  01/02/2015;  

RFE:  07/09/2015;  Permanent Residency Granted:  07/27/2015;  Green card Received:  08/22/2015

 

ROC

NOA1:  05/24/2017;  Biometrics:  06/13/2017;  Approved without interview:  09/05/2018;  10 Yr Green card Received:  09/13/2018

 

Naturalization

08/09/2020 -- Filed N-400 online

08/09/2020 -- NOA1 date

08/11/2020 -- NOA1 received in the mail

12/30/2020 -- Received notice online that an interview was scheduled

02/11/2021 -- Interview

Right. Although curious why Knightsbridge didn't administer them.

You'll have to go to a civil surgeon once you're in the US and have them fill out the I-693. You can get the vaccinations anywhere....it would probably be cheaper at your GP in the UK if possible. The US civil surgeon will need proof of you having received the vaccinations or will administer them to you in order to fill out the required AOS form.

K1 Visa Process AOS Process

Mar 18 2013: I-129F mailed to CSC Nov 15 2013: I-485 with EAD/AP filed at Chicago Lockbox

Sept 19 2013: Interview - Approved!! Jan 25 2014: EAD/AP Card Received

Oct 6 2013: POE - Chicago O'Hare June 2 2014: Permanent Resident Card Received!

Oct 27 2013: Wedding!

Agreed, I'd go to your GP now and get whatever you can.

In the appointment I got the nurse to print me a copy of my records after she'd updated it - easier than going through the front desk ;)
