USPS attempted delivery But failed- Notice left ( Bcoz NVC closed)

I sent my IV doc at 17 Jan 14 through USPS Priority Mail 2-Day™

Just checked USPS web...that..

Notice Left (Business Closed)

We attempted to deliver your item at 3:07 pm on January 19, 2014 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 and a notice was left because the business was closed. You may arrange redelivery by visiting http://www.usps.com/redelivery or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

Is NVC not going to pick it up.? or delivered automatically? or should I have to contact with USPS/NVC?

Martin luther king Jr. Day OFFICE closed

They will be open Tuesday pretty sure re delivered it tuesday

Don't worry, 19th was Sunday and 20th is Martin Luther King, Jr.Holiday. This is very normal, USPS never miss a delivery to NVC. On Tuesday your parcel will be delivered again Insha'allah. You don't need to do anything just keep checking till Wednesday morning if not delivered than contact USPS. I am sure it's fine.good.gif

12/06/2016: In Line for Interview

04/20/2016: Online Status Changed to "Interview was Scheduled" 

05/25/2017: Interview Date- Approved!

06/01/2017: Reply to RFE (N-14) Sent

09/20/2017: Email from Ombudsman confirming that they got in touch with USCIS, advised to wait 60 days.

09/22/2017: Request to find out about the case to Senator, acknowledged the receipt of inquiry.

10/02/2017: Ombudsman’s office notified that USCIS made a decision on the case and I will be informed by USCIS within 30 days.

10/02/2017: Talked with a Tier-2 officer and he informed my case was in line for oath since September 22nd, 2017.

10/10/2017: Online status changed to “Inline for Oath ceremony”

10/14/2017: Online status changed to “Oath Ceremony Letter Mailed”

11/03/2017: OATH CEREMONY!

Hope this helps.

Had the same situation today: sent my passport to Canadian Embassy in LA on Friday.

They attempted to deliver on Saturday, but failed (Notice Left (Business Closed)).

On Monday it was bank holiday, so no action expected.

But on Tuesday they made second attempt and delivered my passport to the embassy at 2:47pm.

However, the previous record on Tuesday at 11:48 says: "Notice Left (No Authorized Recipient Available)". Weird, but delivered in the end.
