My fiancé (UK citizen) has just received his interview date and we are trying to make sure that he has everything with him for the interview so there are no hiccups.

I am trying to figure out a couple of things and the London Embassy website is so not helpful!

1) Will he need an affidavit of support with him on the interview day or is that something we need when doing his adjustment of status?

2) I am currently unemployed and have been for the past year besides being a part time nanny and house sitter while searching for a job. I currently live with my parents and more than likely my fiancé and I will have to either live here for a short amount of time after we are married or move for a job somewhere else...how exactly do I send an affidavit of support if it will be my parents supporting us (which sounds awful I know but I have seriously been working my tail off trying to get a job and having horrible luck even with 2 degrees!) until we get jobs?

Thanks for your help!!

You will need a co-sponsor for the I-134 in London. For London only, you will not have to fill out an affidavit yourself. They just want a sponsor.

You will need a joint sponsor for the I-864 for AOS. For AOS, you will have to also fill out an I-864 since the USC petitioner is always the primary sponsor.
