Traveling to the Philippines

Hello I'm sorry not sure where to post this. My wife and I will be traveling back to the Philippines for a visit this summer. We are hopping to find a nice condo or house with an affordable monthly rental price.

We will be arriving in May 11th to August 11th. The rental does not need to be for this whole time as we will be traveling around a little. Just like for something maybe from May 16th to June or July 16 or just one month at a time. Does not matter just looking to save some money from expensive hotels.

first of all which part of the country are traveling? there are always houses available for rent. Even some hotels offers a room for a month rent, you have to identify which place you want to stay

It really depends on what part of Philippines you want to stay, but local advice is always best. If you want to rent in advance, of course only deal with reputable businesses. But better deals can be had through private parties. What I've usually done is rent a local hotel room and then look around the area myself, that way I can see a place BEFORE any money is exchanged.
