Haiti DCF for Packet 3.5

Hey! We have packet 3.5 in hand and it is in French! I have had it translated and my hubby speaks and reads french but the packet is confusing a bit. Wondering if anyone has info on what the process is in Haiti with what to turn into Haiti Mesanger?

It appears as if we turn in everything but the med report then when we have the appointment we bring the med report with us? But then I read on here that others are saying we need the med report to turn in with everything to Haiti Messanger? Should I go ahead and file the papers or wait and do the med stuff first and then file them?

Also, when are fee's paid? Can I pay the $230 at the Embassy or better to pay NVC and where and how do I pay NVC?

Sorry, this packet is less than helpful:)

Congrats!!kicking.gifkicking.gif

Have you checked out mtcmk1's cover letter/checklist

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/140893-mtcmk1/

You follow this for that packet

the $230 fee has to be paid at Soge Bank in Haiti by your fiance. They should give him a reciept for him to attach to the documents he's giving to Haiti Messenger. He should make a copy of the receipt also.

He's going to have to get the med work first. He should also ask them to give him a copy too.

Just realized that your not doing a K-1. I guess the info might be diferent for your case. You or fiance could always email the embassy

For the kind of visa you are filing, it is different. You bring everything to the interview, from what I know of. I don't think you drop anything off at HM. But if you post the letter here (minus personal info), I can read it and help you a bit more...

thanks for the offer mtcmk1!! I sent it with my hubby to PAP as he is doing the medical and then will go to Haiti Messager. We do drop stuff off there, that we know...and they are saying we do medical first so we are going that route. Will try to update when it all plays out:)
