I'm in the process of filling for my stepson's I-130 and I just realized that in his birth certificate he doesn't have a middle name or a middle initial and his last name is my wife's maiden name. Although, his bio father's name and signature is in the birth certificate. My wife and his bio father we're never married and separated when my step son was born.

My question is would this be a problem?

Would it be ok for me to fill out the I-130 exactly the way his name is in his BC? No Middle name

When he gets his passport I wonder if they let him get it without a middle name.

My step son is currently in the Philippines and he is under 18 years old.

I greatly appreciate any replies. Thanks for your time.

my 5 yr old son (my k2) does not have middle name either. He carries only my surname ( me and his biological father never got married, luckily :-D ) and his passport has already been issued with no questions at all at dfa :-) good luck...
