Some folks get a letter from NVC, some do not. What is important is that you have your DOS case file number.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Hello there, I was just wondering, if I should receive a letter from NVC with my case#. I got my case# via telephone on 11/27/2014, but up to now I have not received any letter from NVC. Does my fiancé need that letter for his interview? Thank you in advance for all the input.

No. You don't need the NVC letter for anything.
