Yes for this Friday, now I got the approval, I try going online and canceling my appointment, it won’t let me, so I call this uscis have them do it for me, they tell me not to worry?

Thank you mrs thb, I really appreciated.

marvelous! congrats!!!!

hopefully your process at the nvc will be more enjoyable and smoother!!!!

try to cancel it a 2nd time, it might work. i can't believe nvc tells you not to worry. also, look on the confirmation page that you printed out to see if something is there to assist cancelling it.

I couldn’t do it online or with the assistance, I went to the office to cancel my info pass security tells me not be worried, it’s not going to be problem. So I left!

How does the NVC works, im kinder confuse? Do you have to call them or do they send you an email or letter that you need pay?

that was nice of you to go in person to cancel it.

as for nvc, its a long process. uscis sends your case to the nvc (takes about 1 to 2 weeks for case to get there. once nvc gets your case, they log it. once it is logged into their system you have about 42 calendar days to get a case number and a iin number. nvc will send you notice that you have a case number. once you have your case/iin numbers your are ready to pay and send in documents. see saylin's wiki and thread...it contains all the info you need for the nvc process....good luck, stay strong...the end is approaching (in about 4-6 months)

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Iran
Timeline

I-130 approved on December 18, 2014

Received I-797 January 17, 2015

No follow up from NVC yet - cannot seem to get a hold of anyone by phone, I call back to back to the NVC and the lines are always busy. No response to emails.

Does NVC usually contact by mail or email? I-130 was at the Nebraska office.

Thank youd
