Hi all,

I met a us woman before 21 months while i'm in china on F(business visa) i'm still in china. we met for 2 weeks in china and we are starting our k1 process, i do have some questions :

I'm Algerian and not resident in china, can i still apply from here or do i have to go back to Algeria?.

I lived for one year in Shenzhen and now i'm in Guangzhou from 10 months, and i want to know if i need police record from the two cities or just one and how i can do that?.

You cannot apply. The USC must file the petition.

If the USC does file and it is approved. A police report is required for all locations you lived for 6 mos. or more from the age of 16

It should be possible to request on the initial petition for the consulate of your current legal residence to perform the interview. However, be aware that local procedure is different from consulate to consulate. Have you reviewed the Guangzhou consulate website? If not, you should. It may also be prudent for you to e-mail them with that question as well.
