Police certificates from your present country or a other countries

Hello, I´m applying for the K1, and I´m a bit concerned about the police certificates from the present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

At the present moment I´m 30 years, when I was 21 I went to study to India, and I lived there for about 6 and a half years.

I live in Mexico, and at it is very difficult for me to go to India just to get the police certificate, what should I do?

Go to website of the nearest Indian Consulate. NYC for you. http://www.indiacgny.org/pages.php?id=3

Not sure if they would issue PCC for foreigners. You may contact them.

Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:

All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police certificates from the local Passport Office.

Indian passport holders applying for visas outside India should obtain a statement from their local embassy or consulate confirming they have no criminal record.

Non-Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the District Police Station serving their area of residence.

Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants applying outside India.

There are some Indians embassies that provided PCC for foreigners. But if DOS says so, then it is considered unavailable and hence no needed.
