Hello everyone

i am a new member here, and i would like to introduce myself.

My name is rajaee, jordanian and working in saudi arabia right now.

My wife filed a petition i-130 for me (she is a LPR), and it was received by USCIS on the 18th of October 2013, so my PD is 18/10/2013 , it was approved then it was sent to NVC and they already assigned me a number.

apparently my PD is not yet current, so do anyone knows how long do i need to wait?

can i proceed with filling the forms online, submit the required documents and pay the fees before my PD becomes current?

this is what i got from NVC:

The NVC may begin processing this petition prior to a visa number becoming available per the current edition of the Visa Bulletin. This allows ample time for the petitioner and applicant(s) to obtain and submit all required fees, forms, and documents. This petition, however, will not be eligible for an immigrant visa interview until its priority date is earlier than the cut-off date established in the current edition of the Visa Bulletin

I think you should wait before NVC get invoiced your fees, you could prepare all the requirements documents, my case is at NVC and my PD is Sept 30th,they send men the same email as you

hopefully we will be getting the Priority date number soon, when do you expect to get it?
