Thank you! InshaAllah, we will get approved soon. :)

I got this e-mail reply from them. Have you ever received this kind of reply? :innocent:

Hello! guys.

I am new member but i would to ask you something i confused since you have more experience about AP. I had interview 12 august at us embassy islamabad, everything was complete and fine but the CO gave 221G white paper which states that my case need AP.

I got response of the e-mail i sent to the embassy, I checked the status, they updated it, my question is does the e-mail response from the embassy change status update? or they are working on the case?

Ever time the embassy sends an email to you, receives documents or works on your case the status should update.

I am also having same situation. Appeared for interview and waiting for immigrant visa. Got a phone call from embassy asking to come again for fingerprinting. Then got email asking to come again for interview along with medical papers and wedding photos. Medical papers and photos have already been submiited in the interview. Any one with same experience ?

This is pretty normal. Sometimes the embassy staff that calls you got no clue. However, I would say take the same file again that you took during ur interview or same documents just in case. If you are not told at the interview that you are approved then they call you once again infront of same visa officer so he can administer the oath and take your secondary fingerprint. This really means is that your visa is being approved so congrats.. once you have that done, your visa will come in 2 to 3 weeks. You can see that your case status changed to non immigrant visa type after this oath.

AA,

This usually means is that when you get there, the Officer will take an oath from you and then ask you few questions, if there are any to ask and will approve the visa. This is the usual process that most consulate are going through. However, i would suggest, take all the supporting documents that you took initially with you on your actual interview day - just in case they ask you for more information.
