I am a little confused about the I-134 form. This site says you need:

(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

and

(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

So do I have to get ahold of a person who works with my bank to write me up a statement with this info on it? Then for the second one I am in the US Navy so when it says my employer who is it asking for? Someone who is higher ranked than me? I can't just include my bank statements, paycheck stubs, and W-2's? Thanks for any help

My fiance is in the Marines and uses Navy Fed too, same as you guys. They have some online account balance history you can print. They really didn't bother to check when the account was opened, just how much he has saved.

- You can have your CO write a letter to prove you are currently employed in the US Navy, How much you make, when your enlistment is up, position etc. Have him do this on a paper with the US Navy or Department of Defense letterhead. For our case, my fiance's CO can't be bothered so he had his Gunny write the letter instead.

- We used print outs from TFAS(latest 6 months)- [TFAS is USMC specific, I dont know what the Navy uses to monitor your salary]. But you can print from DFAS [MyPay]

- we sent 3 years worth of W2.

During the interview, they took the DFAS & TFAS print outs. & letter from his CO.
