Is the status updated date changing? If yes, that's another good sign because it means that they are actually going thru your case file.

Initially, the processing date was October 21, 2013 then a month later, after periodically checking the online Visa status, the date was updated to November 18, 2013...so as you had stated with the good news, around what timeframe do you think I should be receiving my Visa? Thanks dancin5hr.gif

If no docuents were asked, then it just means they have what they need from you and are conducting backround checks on the info you gave them. Nothing to worry about if everything you put in the application forms was honest and all documents and evidence submitted is legit and genuine. It just takes time is all.

In regards with the Visa Status "Administrative Processing," based on anyone's experience, under what circumstance(s) would delay the Visa release?

My fiance and I have only met in person for a period of 9 days when he was here in the Philippines last September 2012...would that situation be iffy under the US/Philippines Embassy standards?

It's what my fiance and I assumed in the first place; hence the prolonged delay...

Nope, meeting only once in person is not a problem, in fact it is fairly common. There is something else that they spotted and want to verify, could be they are requesting new documents, could be anything.... need to be patient and keep the faith.
