recieved an email from New Delhi Embassy

We have filed fiance petition and were interviewed on March 1, 2013. Even though everything went good at the interview, we were placed in AP. it has now been more than 9 months of AP. The embassy were holding his passport since than.

but yesterday i recieved email from the New Delhi Embassy that they have returned my fiance's passport to local office and to be picked up from there.

My finace is out of town and he is unable to go to local office to pick up his passport for couple more days. We don't know why they returned his passport now

I checked the status on CEAC website, it still shows AP.

Do you guys think they probably returned to get Medical and PCC renewed since they both have been expired while in AP or did they refused to grant his visa?

anyone expereinced this before or know anything about this?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

We have submitted documents in Aug. still waiting....It has been 14 months since interview in New Delhi.

14 months??? Did you guys have any red flags??????

14 months??? Did you guys have any red flags??????

Yes, 14 months......I don't believe of any red flags. It was due to relationship verification. I have visited embassy last month twice and CO said they are satisfied with evidence. However; still nothing. I saw an update today. Hopefully.

yes, they sent passport with letter stating to submit a new medical and PCC along with passport to Embassy. We have turned all the documents now and case status date was updated yesterday. Hopefully they will grant his visa soon now.

yes, they sent passport with letter stating to submit a new medical and PCC along with passport to Embassy. We have turned all the documents now and case status date was updated yesterday. Hopefully they will grant his visa soon now.

Let me know when you hear something....we are still waiting and our 2nd medical will expire in one month...still no news.

i emailed New Delhi Embassy yesterday regarding submitting documents and stuff. Today I got replied from email saying "Your case is under officer;s review. please contact us after 10 working days."

However, when I checked the status at CEAC today, It was updated to todays date but with same AP stuff.

Is this a good sign?

I believe date was updated because of your inquiry....Any news? Are they open this week...There are no interviews scheduled for rest of the month.

My finace got his visa on the 23rd of December. We sent new medical and PCC on the 13th.

When I emailed the embassy on 12/20/13, they told us that our case is under officers review and to contact them after 10 days.

And when we checked our case status on 12/23/13, our case was approved and issued a Visa.

He just received his passport yesterday with visa in it.

And when we checked our case status on 12/23/13, our case was approved and issued a Visa.

Hopefully in Jan, our admin process will complete. Today DOS told me that they have requested fresh medical since his medical expires on Jan 19th.
