Picking-up my children to come to the US on follow-to-join

Hello Everyone,

I'm a K1 visa holder living in the US for 10 months. My children in the Philippines just received their US visa. My husband is planning on going to the Philippines and bringing them back to the US. He will travel without me. Is he allowed to pick them up and bring them back to the US without me? Are there any US or Philippine requirements for doing this? My children are 12 and 8 yrs old. Thank you for all your help.

Hi, good luck! so your husband is bringing your kids? are they your children both? that's no problem if they are both your kids. just bring the documents that he is the father bringing the children to the USA.

But if the 2 kids are from your first marriage you have to get from DSWD a permit, bringing minors to the US.

Oh.. I am planning to go there with my husband or just my husband. Since it's not easy to travel with two kids with me alone. We are still planning. :)
