? About paying the Manila interview fee

Hi,

So I read that we need to pay about 100.00 for the medical exam and another 100.00 for the interview.

So to pay the interview fee... since she can't pay it at the embassy during the interview, is there a way she can pay the fee somewhere in Cebu before she flies to Manila? Some bank or something?

Has your fiancee received the packet from the embassy yet? There should be a form in the packet that she will need to fill out and take to the Bank of the Philippine Islands to pay the interview fee. At least that is what Claudeth had to do back in April 2005.

I went to BPI sto. nino branch in cebu, to pay for the bill its $100 for me and $100dollar for my daugther.. We just print online the DS forms we need. I keep the pink reciept and present that to the u.s embassy. I think it would help. Is she from cebu? Coz i'm from cebu too.

I was under the impression that for the CR-1 the interview fee is part of the fee sent to NVC for the DS-230 package. Am I mistaken?

My fiance is getting ready for the medical now. What I have found is that the medical exam fee is paid at St. Lukes at the time of the exam, and is $95 but must be paid in Philippine pesos.

I beleive the VISA interview fee is $100 and must be paid in advance at BPI.

100 bucks, paid at BPI.

Take your filled-up DS-157 form (or get one at the bank if you don't have it) because you need the validated DS-157 to prove you paid!

Save the pink receipt from the bank (there seems to be some disagreement on this but save it if they give you one, and it might be blue!).

BPI locations in Cebu will accept the payment:

Note that some instructions say the DS-156 is validated but apparently it is the DS-157.

I think your right..what I'm talking about the fee in BPI is that during our K-1 journey not with CR-1..lol...I got mistake when I checked lately that they we're in CR-1 visa.

oh..I see she's from lapu2 I'm familiar with the background in your photo. As I remember, my husband told me before no more fees involve when I receive packet from embassy not like the k-1 process. Hopefully we will meet your wife before the interview date, we are expecting March and April too...lol I'm always in SM doing real estate job. Good Luck!
