Will the CEAC update change to AP and then Issued.. or does it generally go from Ready to Issued? I'd rather not call DoS so I'm just clicking CEAC randomly. :) It's a week past his interview date and I'm not expecting much yet.

Thanks!

Bridget

Hello!

I had my interview the same day in London :)

I have been checking (obsessively) on CEAC since then.

On November 15th my status was still "Ready" but it had changed the Case Creation date to November 15th too. The message said to that I was ready for my interview, but if I had already had my interivew, I should check back on CEAC in two working days.

On November 18th (Monday) it had changed to "Issued" (exciting!)

I don't know if this is the same for everyone though. The whole system seems to be a little random.

Hope this helps,

xRhi

That's exciting! I'm trying to not be obsessive about it. :D He has quite a few family members coming from Wales for the wedding so I have lots and lots of distraction due to that planning. We're looking at renting a large home for a week so everyone can be together. My kids are used to Steven's accent, but I think the younger ones are going to be a smidge baffled by his sister's accent/slang! Everything else feels very relaxed compared to getting up to this part of getting Visa in hand.

Steven is hoping to travel on the 12th of Dec. Though we did joke that fares might be cheaper on the Friday due to being the 13th. :) We figure if he gets here on a Thursday he'll have a quiet Friday to recoup while kiddos are in school. Though it's gonna be a challenge to get them to go.

Hiya,

I had my interview on the 14th Nov. On Monday CEAC changed from 'Ready' to 'Issued' and I had an email from DOS yesterday. I collected my docs from the Bridgend Depot this morning!!

If you are collecting from there beware! Its quite hard to find (on an industrial site within an industrial site) and not very well marked at all.

Good luck!

I'm the last person to tell you not to obsess!

Got home today to a big fat envelope containing my passport, new visa and super secret envelope to give to immigration control :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So seems like it takes two-threeish days after it changed to "Issued".

I'm due to fly out Friday the 13th! Flights not cheaper sadly :( However I'm determined not to be superstitious as my Dad was born on Friday the 13th, and it was the only date I could get connecting flights that worked to our timetable (no direct international flights to Nashville mad.gif).

Good luck planning the wedding!

Bridget,

I used google maps on my phone. You come off the M4 at the Pencoed junction and follow the dual carriageway towards Porthcawl/Bridgend til you get to an industrial estate on the right. Then there is kind of a dual carriageway within the industrial estate (the road is called Kingsway westbound and Western Ave eastbound). There is another industrial estate called Central Park which is located off Western Avenue and the DX office is right at the back and to the right of this. Its not marked very clearly at all, I only found it by looking at the map at the entrance to the Central Park Ind Est.

Hope this helps!

Is it possible to track the delivery online? I paid for home delivery.

I just got an e mail with a tracking number but it said for delivery the next day in the e mail anyway so in my case it was a little pointless giving me a tracking number.

But yes, you should get a tracking number with the e mail.

How long was it until you got a tracking number? I paid 2 weeks ahead of my interview and was approved at my interview on Monday the 2nd. I know it's still early days yet but I'm just curious about the tracking. Thanks!!

Dianna, in my case my interview was on a Monday, tracking e mail on Thursday and passport on Friday, mine was particularly quick and from what I have seen on here it's taking a bit longer than that. I think the time depends on how long the embassy take rather than the courier, you will not get the e mail from the courier until they have your passort I believe and then they get them out pretty quick.

My interview was the same day! I'll let you know when I hear anything.
