I am going to visit the Philippines nextweek and will be there for 2 weeks, i ' ve heard i have to get CFO when i come back to the US. How does this work?

I got married in the US this year and got my GC through my spouse. I did not do a report of marriage at the Philippine Embassy. I dont think I have the time to do all the requirements since my flight is nextweek.

Will i have trouble getting my CFO sticker since i didnt do a report of marriage abroad? My greencard is my maiden name but my passport is my maiden name. Also, i just renewed my passport this January 2013.

Please advice. Thank you.

You won't need the CFO sticker, that is for those immigrating to the USA, you already have your green card.

Not sure why your green card is in your maiden name, should have applied using your married name. Not a major issue, but something that should be corrected later when you get back. Same with reporting your marriage... later (can do that by mail even, but you will need your correct married name for that good.gif )
