Wife's K2 AOS fully accepted.

My wife's K2 AOS (under 14 yrs.) paperwork (I-485; I-765 EAD; I-131 AP) all were rejected, returned and told to refile

My wife signed on Part 6: Signature of Person Preparing Form, If Other than above.....which was wrong and unacceptable according to USCIS.

It should have been signed in Part 5 by the mother.

On the letter we are told to complete the application fully and submit the appropriate fees.......which is my primary question?

Do we now pay the full $985.00 or still the $635.00?

Will it still be considered filing with the parent even though the mother's AOS paperworks were separately approved?

Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the mother can sign for them. Print the child's name, have the mom sign beside it and put '(mother of applicant)' next to the signature. No need for the 'Prepared By' part of the form. That is used by lawyers and other third party agencies that fill out and file forms on behalf of their clients.

Should still be the same fee for a child under 14. Include a copy of the receipt notice for their mother's I-485 and instruction paper they sent you just to be sure.
