Do I wait for packet 4 to also schedule our medical with our interview or do I schedule the medical before sending back packet 3? I want to have my medical the same week as our interview, that is the goal.

Yes, I scheduled my medical AFTER I scheduled my interview date.

03/04/2014- Used Advance Parole document to re-enter after a visit to Canada (without any issues)!

03/09/2014- checked USCIS website and saw update saying "Card/Document production" for I-485

03/13/2014-AOS approved. Received Welcome Letter (i-797)

03/17/2014-Green Card arrived in the mail

I scheduled my medical appointment the day I received my Packet 4. I was unable to schedule my interview first (which is the typical route) because there were no available interview dates at that time. I explained this to the secretary at Dr Zatzman's office - she reluctantly went ahead and scheduled me in despite not having an interview yet. Another office in Toronto (I forget who) refused to schedule me a medical without an interview date.

It all ended up working out quite well, my medical ended up being 2 weeks before my interview.
