Hello,

I would like to know if someone know what to do in this case:

we are in the process of sending the I-824 (fee paid, all the documents and form ready to send)

my husband (the petitioner) is working and he makes more than the minimum shown on the I-864P ( so we are good in that part) but he was a full time student on 2012 (until late october) and only started working on December so he didn't make enough money last year (only worked 1 month) to be required to filed taxes for 2012 (we have the written explanation of this situation and the IRS publication )

I know the federal tax return information is very important so i was wondering if it would be necessary to have a joint sponsor just to make sure that the NVC is not going to ask for more information which would delay more this process.

thank you

oops8rh.gif I am not an immigration layer but it is better be safe that sorry: I strongly recommending a sponsor to cover the year 2012 a friend of his could help him to do that and the case will be in the save zone, also in case he could not have a job letter that states that he is not a temporally employee the sponsor will be do the trick.

basically as I said NO TICKET NO LAUNDRY The USA consul do not care nothing else, if he do not have a solid income your case will be denied. ranting33va.gif

They want to look in his 2012 taxes the amount of dependents claim and if he received money from the social security mean while he was not able to work and if he filed joint with someone . Also all this will be checked in his affidavit declaration ... as I told you YOU NEED TO JOINT SPONSOR . do not game with you visa. mad.gif He should know better .......... nevertheless you can make your own choice. innocent.gif

good luck in your journey.... wow.gif
