After NOA2 how do I track the status of my I129F?

Now that my petition has been approved by VSC, how do I track the status of my case? From what I understand one only recvs updates from USCIS-CSSO@dhs.gov and on the website https://egov.immigration.gov until NOA2 - fiancee petition approval.

You cannot do any tracking with NVC like you did at Vermont USCIS. You'll have to call the National Visa Center (NVC) to see it your case has arrived there and been entered into their system. The telephone # is 603-334-0700. You can also email them at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Once you get the Case # from the VSC then it usually is passed on pretty quick to the consulate, from there you can use the same VSC case # to contact the consulate and find out when they sent out the finaly packet 3. As far as DHL tracking they don't give you that information. If you call the VSC they can tell you the date they approved and passed on to the consulate. The consulate can tell you when they sent out your packet 3 but they usually do not tell you when they received the original form from the VSC. At least that was our Experience. The time ours took to get to us from the consulate to me..was about 3 weeks. But that can vary depending on the consulate. goodluck.

I e-mailed the NVC and they responded once my case was forwarded to Rio and gave me my case number. I then called NVC at almost midnight to find out when my case was forwarded to Brazil.

You can always e-mail the embassy and ask if you're case has been received. Regardless they have to send your fiance packet 3 with instructions.
