I live in Washington and followed the directions on which service center to mail my Fiance' petition, so I mailed to the Nebraska Service Center. I checked on-line and the marks on the back of the cancelled check was for deposit to the California Service Center and when I got my NAO1 it was from the California Service Center. So I double checked the instructions and it said to mail Washington applications to the Nebraska Service Center, so can someone tell me why now it is at the California Service Center.

PS I even checked the USCIS sit and that's where they say it's at too...

I just find it odd...

I wouldn't sweat it at all. I sent mine to the TSC, it is now at the CSC... but I filed the I-130.

Sent I-130 to TSC

Received NOA1 from CSC with a date of 8/15/06

I-130 petition approved 4/16/2008 after 19 months.

Got IIN from NVC 5-13-08

Paid AOS fee online 5-14-08, Paid IV Fee online 5-27-08

Sent I-864 forms 5-27-08

Sent DS-230 forms 5-28-08

6-2-08 called NVC and msg says "received all information,processing will take 4-6 weeks"

6-13-08 called NVC, CR1 is complete, sent RFE for CR2. returned to NVC, waitn on result

6-26-08 case complete/approved. Waiting to be transferred to U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou, China for interview date

7-7-08 Petition forwarded to Guanzhou, China. Awaiting interview letter.

That's how it is and how it's been for awhile.

Forget about the timelines for TSC and NSC now because your case is in California.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

Thanks....I'm getting more and more excited everyday. We have in some ways put the horse before the cart..and have already set a wedding date...07/07/07..So if things go according to plan... :unsure: and average timelines we should be ok...Cross your fingers..
