Hello I am trying to fill out for my wife the I-864 for me the petitioner, one I-864 for my father as the joint sponsor, and one I-864a for my mother as his co-sponsor household member.

Do I need to list my mother as a household count on my i-864 form and my father's i-864 form and also her as an income under both form I-864's or does her I-864a become understood as connected to my father's I-864 household size 3 (himself, my mother, and my wife), and mine as 2 (me and my wife & I essentially put nothing but my low income and not my mother's income as I would put that on my father's I-864)?

Also what sort of proof do I need to prove the relationship with my mother and father for the i-864a? Is my birth certificate and their joint tax return count as good proof?

thank you for your help

hi,

you only list your wife, your mom has nothing to do on your i864, the contract is between the joint sponsor and his household member, your mom's income will be added on your dad's i864, not yours

there is no proof needed of relationship between you and them, they need proof of relationship between themselves, which would be a copy of their marriage certificate, and a couple of bills or correspondence that prove that they live in the same house/address.
