Hello all,

I could not find any info. on this so I'm posting it.

Does anyone know if IT staffing agencies can sponsor a TN visa?
Got some response from an agency that puts contract workers to a well-known MNC software company
in Silicon Valley. They told me some contract positions are 1 year.

I know few years back, some IT recruiting(?) companies would bring foreign IT workers under H1-B's
and contract them off to clients which got them into trouble.

But since TN is "temporary" in nature as opposed to H1B,
so maybe there is a possibility? That is, as long as the agency is willing to do it.

Hope someone out there can give me a clue about this.

FYI, I'm a Canadian and have received a TN as a Systems Analyst few years back and
now back in Canada.

Thank you very much,

H1b is temporary.
