I am the US sponsor for my Ukrainian fiance, but the problem is this... I currently live with him in Ukraine because I am a Peace Corps Volunteer here. Obviously, being a PCV, I barely make money at all and dont make enough to satisfy the income requirement. That said, my father lives in America and does. He will be my cosponsor, submitting the I-134 and all the evidence along with me, and I thought that would be fine - until I read somewhere on this website that sometimes the embassy refuses to consider co-sponsors at the interview! Does this happen often? Especially in Kiev? Help!

if your father have enough , he can sponsor your wife or fiance that s not problem at all .. and that s not refusable , just submitt his tax papers and fill the 134.. it's ok.. and will be fine.
