Refused? At what stage of the visa process are you in? You should put your visa process on your signature so people can respond properly :)

Sorry fro not being too clear. Anybody had this experience and know what this means, please share your experience. I had my Interview on 9-5-13. The Embassy kept my passport and issue a 221G asking for a re-certification of the certificate on no marriage. At that time the case status was changed to REFUSED, apparently when you get issued a 221G the status change to Refused because it is temporarily refused until you submit the additional documents then it is reviewed. The documents were submitted 5weeks ago via the Embassy's courrie (2GO), now the case status change to Transfer in Progress. What does that mean? It also says, your immigrant visa case has been transferred to another US Consular Office . Why would they transfer our case and what does that mean. Thanks in advance for any input.

I think it's best that you call USEM hotline for the actual status of your case and to know if anybody is looking at it now.

US Embassy hotline: (02) 301-2000 extension 5184 or 5185 / (02) 982-5555 / (02) 902-8930. good.gif

hi lizaike2012, how is your visa processing so far? i think i may be on the same boat, i was a handed a 221g white form after my interview last oct 18, 2013. i was not able to bring ny fiance's ITR and the consul asked me to drop it in 2go once i have it. after my interview, the ceac website updated to "administrative processing" until yesterday, but then today, i checked the website and it said "refused" followed by "We have notified you in writing regarding the status of your case. For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV."

we're really confused because i havent even dropped the docs in 2go because im

still waiting for it via post. is this "refused" status normal for everyone who was handed a 221g?
