Are you missing the point that when a lesser achieving person gets a seat undeserving, a better candidate is denied the place he earned.

In other words when a person checks "hispanic" or whatever in the box, it often enables him to gain what a more deserving person should have gotten.

Of course the other ugly side of this is when the deserving candidate is Black or hispanic and they did earn their place..... the sceptic baggage they are made to carry.
