IV Fee Payment stays IN PROCESS

The wife just spoke with NVC customer service. She was told that NVC are aware that they have a problem with the system and are working on fixing it. She was further told to send in the IV package by mail and fill out the DS 260 IF it is available.

She sent in the IV via FedEx and its gonna reach there tomorrow. Now I'm wondering how to fill out the DS 260 since it isn't yet available online. Hopefully things will change soon!

Did you send the check the money order or check too? I have already send my IV packet last week but not yet the money order

the DS 260 will not be available if IV fee is not yet paid..

We sent the IV payment via mail yesterday. Pretty annoying, but whatever. NVC told us that it'll take around 5 days after check is received to get cashed and for the DS-260 to show up.

I wonder if it's a good idea to mail the IV package now too...

i already sent the IV package even though the payment is still IN PROCESS. it will take them 30 business days to review the package so i rather sent it..

Can you do that though? Don't you need the DS230 first?

For AOS, when we paid the $88, a transaction ID was generated the moment we paid. However, for IV, its been 8 days and still no Transaction ID. Does anyone think its a glitch? Maybe we should call them?

Yah I know its frustrating. I think we should wait for them to fix as I don't think it will take longer than 2 weeks to fix (because thats how long it takes were we to send money order or check).

I have told my wife to call NVC first thing tomorrow morning to see if they're having tech problem with transaction ID.

Will keep you guys updated.

I have the same problem too. I paid same date and around same time - No transaction ID.

I called NVC the last two days and all I get is misinformation and the run around. It is a glitch in their payment system. We plan to wait it out until Friday, as sending a money order or cashier's check will take too long to process. Let us know if you hear anything new.

I already submitted IV payment via mail. When I asked NVC when are they gonna fix the problem, they said they have no idea. For me, its better to send than just waiting on something that has no definite answer. Keep you updated. Hope it will be fix sooner..

sayocean, do you mean ds 260? I couldnt do it online. IV fee had be paid first..

I got a checklist today and also on the email they reminding to pay the IV fee. If this glitch has been fixed since last week, I shouldnt have this delay.

I am getting ready to pay my visa fees and after following this thread I am not sure if it is better to do it online or to send it in. What does everyone recommend at this point?

I think you try it online and if you have a transaction id on the receipt, you are good to go. just monitor for a 2-3 days..

My wife did call and they acknowledged the system error on their part and recommended that she send in the IV package, which she did yesterday.

did the NVC know when it will be fixed? If they acknowledge the error, there should already been resolution to the problem since they know about it.

FYI my status is now marked as "NOT PAID." Not sure if it's because they received my payment via mail yesterday but there you go, they cleared up the status for me today. Hope it's the same for others as well.

same here, status "not paid". I dont want to initiate again the payment as this may cause me paying it twice. My payment via mail just arrived in St Louis, MO. From what i read on one of the forum, it will change to "PAID" when when they cashed in the money order..
