Hello.

My wife and I just closed on a home last wedensday, 10/9. We will be moving into the house 10/21. Our apartment lease does not end until 10/27. Here is the problem. My wife will be leaving the country to take care of her sick mother for a few months. She has cancer. We mailed in the form for ROC and received the one year extension and biometric appointment letter. Can we submit the electronic AR-11 before we actually move our belongings? The house is ours, her name is on the deed as well. Does it matter if we submit the ar-11 7 days before moving?

Regarding the AR-11, which I-797 # do we input into the form, the 1 year extension and recept or the biometric letter? I read the case nimber for the biometrics is used to look up info regarding the ROC status.

Do we call USCIS as well with the change of address, or will the electronic form take care of everything? Im thinking I,her husband and US citizen, must also submit a change of address form? I-865?

Thank you all again for the help and support.

Yes, you as the petitioner file I-865 - paper form.

You can do AR11 when you know your new address - latest it could be done per USCIS is within 10 days of moving but people have done it months later without any adverse effects.

I'd use number off NOA1.

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010
