Anyone had experience with changing interview date?

I am not sure it is a good idea to attempt to change the date of interview. Does doing this foul things up? How much longer would we have to wait for another appointment? This is probably a silly question, but is there any chance at getting an earlier appointment?

I am so thankful about finally getting the appointment, but it is unfortunately during an inconvenient week. I am travelling to get together with the wife that week in Shanghai - already paid for the trip on a non-refundable ticket - and would hate to "waste" a few precious days (with one or both of us) having to travel to GZO in the middle of that week and worrying about this.

Anybody with any experience with this?

We just canceled our appointment. Haven't had a chance yet to reschedule but I'm not too concerned about it. I wonder if the cancellation will come up in the interview, but I don't think it'll be a big deal.

Why don't you guys just make it a trip to go to GZO? It's a fun city with things to do; just move your vacation there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

We probably should have originally planned a trip to GZO just in case this happened. Did not think of it. But my itinerary to Shanghai is already paid for...
