Hi! I have a question... my fiance and I plan to get married outside the US on a civil wedding and after the wedding file the Spouse Visa, while the Spouse Visa is on process we plan to have another wedding in the church this time... the wedding papers in the church wedding will that affect our spouse visa application?

don't worry you won't have any problem.

actually my priest wrote an affidavit for showing the bona fides of our marriage saying that he believes in it 'cause we were also organizing a catholic wedding, so not only it wasn't a problem but it helped us!
