Hi Everyon!!

My petition for my husband was entered in January of 2012 and is been 25 months since we have started all this process my husband had his interview on March 28 2013 and since then we been sending e-mails and checking on the website that only tells us very little that his case is under Administrative processing and that might take 2 weeks to couple months is been more then just couple months and still nothing I need to know if anyone is in the same situation that I am, is very frustrating waiting and waiting, and no help from NVC to when we call, they just forward the calls to an automated phone and is sicking to hear over the same thing, does anyone know why is this, I need an advice from someone that has been in the same situation and that was fixed or something help please!!!!!!! I need help...

Unfortunately no one will be able to tell you how long the AP will take, and any guesses people give you are entirely that: guesses.

You should expect the current partial shutdown affecting the federal government to negatively impact AP's duration also.

as long as i know the AP it is only takes for a month to 6 but yours tokes moe than this, i hope its coming in their way and good luck..............

YEAH, the longest in AP i have seen was last year for us with USCIS for almost 9 months for review, january 2012 to may 2012 in AP at embassy in cairo.

it is true no one knows how long it will take especially at the embassy in AP

you just keep hoping and praying that soon it will end.

The shutdown should not be affecting anything since all USCIS offices are open and working all around the world.
