my naturalization interview is tomorrow, but husband and i had a huge fight and he won't let me go to the interview. he got all the papers. please tell me how i can reschedule? how can i go for the interview if he does not give me the papers i need? he says he will have me deported because it was a marriage based green card. please help!

Your husband's giving you empty threats. He can't have you deported.

Call the cops is the first thing that came to my mind if he threaten you.

call the cops and he will have to have to give you your papers. Those are your papers not his he can't hold them from you. And if somebody threatens you to get deported, they can't just do that. If you are a good resident there is no reason for the governement to deport even if you got in an argument with your husband. Those words are baseless.

I hope you made it to the interview! Your husband can't deport you. He may delay your citizenship if he refuses to give you his citizenship papers. Please come back and tell us what happened .

I do not know what happened but if he was a good man, he wouldn't be doing this to you.
