Question on I-129F form

Hi Guys,

I have a question on I-129F form and would appreciate your advice/inputs. On page 2 of the form, item # 14, it asks "Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiance or husband/wife before?" with the answer options as "Yes" or "No". I have filed form I-130 for my ex-wife in the past, but I did not file I-129F form for anyone before. So, do I answer this question as "Yes" or "No", because I do not understand if they are asking in the question ONLY about I-129F filings in the past.

I would really appreciate your help/inputs.

I think the petition for your wife have to be mention in that part... they are asking for any other petition for fiance or wife.... which you did...

I would answer yes and specifically mention it was an I-130. If you don't mention it and it comes up in the interview, I can see a huge Pandora's box being opened. Better to let them know now.

I did the same with IMBRA disclosure on mine. The onlline broker I used was specifically exempt from IMBRA, but rather than ignore it and then worry about my fiance not properly explaining the exemption at the interview, I told them everything and even attached an email I got from the broker explaining why they are exempt.
