long form birth certificate

I do not have an original long form of my birth certificate only the photocopy from Service Ontario. is this going to be an issue at any point after receiving you NOA2? There is no way i will ever get the original. but, I do have my original short form birth certificate

I didn't have the long form of mine either and paid Service Ontario for a certified copy. As long as it is a certified copy off the microflim you will have no problems going forward. I know I didn't and I have now been in the US and married for almost 2 years. I even had to send the long form to renew my passport from the US and had no probems getting it back.

As long as it is a certified copy from Service Ontario, you are fine. I heard that original long form birth certificates are not issued and that a certified copy is just as good as the original.

Well. Its not just as good as a long form. Because illegals and foreigners and our president cant get a real one. But a Certified copy is what you use.

no one can get an original because, by nature, there is only one original, and it's kept by the office. A certified copy is what you need.

The original is kept by you. The doctor makes it. The office original is a copy made from hospital records, Or other useless information.
