My nanay just had her "advance medical exam", she hasn't received yet her interview letter but we opted to have her medical anyway.

She was supposed to finish on the same day unfortunately, she was diagnosed with HBP that is why she did not get her vaccine and X-ray result. Instead, she was recommended to see a private cardiologist for medication and St. Lukes instructed her to return afterwards.

I wanna know how long will be the medication to make her BP goes normal?

sorry to hear that... actually there's a lot of contributing factors that might affect the our BP- most likely one is stress, and age, or might as well your nanay so anxoius that's why sometimes people will have their BP elevated when it was being check. but it's better to look for a cardiologist so that she can get a check up and have her medications if needed for maintenance usually it will only take a week if she will relax the next time she will have her BP check there's a lot of test now a days to find the heart activity :-) wish your nanay to feel better and btw how old your nanay? if you don't mind me asking... God bless...

Just tell your mom to relax. Don't get too excited or nervous. Taking maintenance medicine will help.

My hubby has HBP too but it didn't cause him any problems when he had his medical exam at SLEC. He just presented the prescription that his cardiologist gave him so the SLEC physician can take note of the medicines he's taking.
