~Moved from K-1 Process to Phil. Regional Forum~

~Inquiry is Phil.-specific~

Is your timeline correct? The Adjustment of Status (AOS) process starts after you have received your K-1 visa, moved to the US, gotten married, then file for AOS. I think that you may have your terms confused. Please see K-1 Flowchart for details:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Each embassy has a little different process at the interview phase, best to check-in at the Regional Forum.

Good luck.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

We are so close our interview. I sent my AOS package overnight for my fiancé. Can I pay the AOS fee although I have not received the paperwork?

AOS? If you are talking the I-134 form for evidence of support there is not a fee with that. Are you talking the visa application fee?

For the K-1 visa click the link below maybe the info there will be helpful.

"Hank" To answer your question "yes". We are about to interview and on the instruction for her interview, it stated that she needed a I-134 form.

"EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis."

Yes, you need an I-134 for the interview. And it has to have an original signature, it cannot be a copy. 2012 ITR and W-2. If the petitioner makes more than 125% of the poverty level income for this year, you probably won't need the letter from employer and bank statements, but those are easy to get, scan, and email over.

I think I am above the poverty level. Do I multiply 125% by the poverty level and then total?

There is not a fee with the I-134. Simple follow the embassy instructions letter and all will be fine.

When is your interview?

Here are the I-864P guidelines follow the 125% column. For two people you need a minimum income of $19,387
