Do I need to fill out I-864A?

My father is doing my affidavit of support. My parents file their taxes together. If I am reading things correctly I would do this:

Me- I-864

Father- I-864

Mother? Here is where I am confused. Would I need her to do I-864A?

Also while I am on this topic should I send W2 and paystubs?

Thanks!

Yes, mother does I-864A.

Are you filing DCF? You don't have a profile filled in.

Each sponsor needs a complete tax return, which includes W2s (if that is how s/he is paid). Paystubs can be used to show current employment. Without knowing what you are doing it's hard to help with any more specifics.

Sorry I'll fill that in. I'm doing DCF.

I thought I read when I did the search key that if one parent's income was enough then the other parent could do I-864? And not do I-86A. My father earns more then my mother. So didn't know if she could do I-864 too.

Yes, it's true that the I-864A might not be strictly required if your father makes enough on his own. But, especially if they file joint taxes it can get confusing what income is what (not that confusing, obviously) and furthermore, as a household, the consulate or USCIS might want to see that the mom approves of her family income being used as sponsorship. So I think it's just cleaner and more secure to have her fill out I-864A, which is a short form.

But you can try without if you want.
