Is that your work??

Yeah that's my deviantart site. I have a few pieces that I've printed and have about the house along with a couple pieces of my traditional artwork.

Hey, I've changed the choice. I was thinking, since I'm just started to get myself busy with this pics pics thingy, I think get a bridge cam is a good idea to start it before I dig more deep. So, I purchased the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ30. It's pretty cool.

What do you think? Have you ever used it?

Looks okay for a wanting to start with DSLR cameras. It's got manual and a 35x optical zoom (which zooms way further than my 200mm lens). Practice with the manual settings. I suggest a book: http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Exposure-3rd-Edition-Photographs/dp/0817439390 it will help you learn how to take nice photos and understand the different things a camera can do. Also read the manual for your camera or get a book dedicated to it so you can make sure you get the most out of it. :)

My opinion: I trust no sites that advertise. Consumer Reports purchase items from the shelf and test and never accept advertising. It costs, but then if you want totally unbiased information it is worth it. No, I do not work for CR; I work for a German engineering firm located in the US. I truly feel CR's science is solid.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
